An invite from Fr. Acton - Latin Mass

Sat 25 Mar is the Feast of the Annunciation, celebrated 9 months before the Nativity on 25 Dec. It is a 1st Class Feast and we have been given permission by the Pastor of Holy Spirit parish in Barrie (650 Essa Rd) to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass in that parish. This is a wonderful opportunity and I hope you will be able to celebrate this great Feast of the BVM beginning at 12.30 this Saturday. See attached poster.
One of the reasons why we are being invited into Barrie for this Mass is that I am already scheduled to be there to lead a Lenten Reflection / Spiritual exercises from 2 - 4pm that same afternoon, followed by Confessions... as well as taking their Sat evening Mass. The CWL, who are hosting the mini afternoon 'retreat', have opened it up and you are all welcome to stay for all or part of that, and perhaps even enjoy some light refreshments after Mass.
So please pass this info to others in the local area who may be interested in experiencing the TLM which hasn't been celebrated in Barrie for about 50 years.
