As we move towards March Break.....

As we move towards March Break.....there are a few things that I would like to bring your attention to:
1) FIRST, thank you all for your continued and tremendous support of the Laura Secord Chocolate Fundraiser. The fundraiser officially ends on February 28 (Shrove Tuesday), but if you have chocolates that you need to return, or have sold the entire box, or sold a partial box with some chocolates left over, know that you can send them in anytime (today, tomorrow) as we have parents waiting to get more to sell. Again, thank you for all your support!!
2) Tomorrow is our 'Good News Assembly' at 11:15am. Parents and extended family are very welcome to join us as we celebrate children from each class....and then take a photo at the end to tweet out! Just a reminder that we do have an anaphylactic scent/fragrance allergy at the school, and we ask that you arrive completely scentless (laundry detergents, fabric softeners, hair spray etc.) Again, thank you for your continued support.
3) Parent Council is hosting a Pancake Tuesday, next week on February 28th, during the morning. If there are any parents that wish to help with this yearly tradition, please contact the school. 705-737-9082
4) Sololunch.com is now open. Please visit the site to order your child's(ren's) pizza or pitas. If you have any difficulty simply email the administrator (which is actually Ms. Toth), or call the school and we can certainly help you out! The link above is live and should take you there immediately.
5) Ash Wednesday is March 1, and Father Tad will be joining us at the school for a paraliturgy (not a Mass) to distribute ashes. You are most welcome to join us. The start time is approximately 10am.
